🌳 Use of The Green

Ripley Green is available for hire subject to approval and adherence to usage guidelines.

Personal training sessions	£40 per session
Parish organisation events	£175 per day
Out of parish events	£360 per day
Film and TV	£1,275 per day minimum to be discussed with council
Sports clubs	£170 per annum

🏗️ Temporary Use of Council Land

Temporary access to private property is to be discussed with the Council.
Storage of other building materials priced as per individual agreement

🌱 Allotment Rental

Allotments are available to Ripley parishioners and, where space permits, to those outside the parish. Concession rates apply to eligible tenants (pensioners or means-tested benefits).
📌 Allotment tenancies are reviewed annually and subject to the Allotment Policy.

Buying a Grave

The cost of arranging a burial is made up of 2 elements:

the cost of leasing the section of land or grave
the cost of opening the grave which is the burial or interment

The maximum number of burials that can take place in a purchased grave is 2, or 6 for cremated remains.

Exclusive rights of burial (ERoB) is for 100 years.

📌 IMPORTANT: ERoB owners must keep their Deed of Grant somewhere safe. We issue the Deed of Grant when the grave is first purchased. It should be produced for each burial. Possession of the Deed does not in itself signify ownership of the Exclusive Rights.

📄 All memorials must be approved by Ripley Parish Council prior to installation and must comply with the burial ground regulations.
